The Obsolete Exchange

/// RDR PC Port analysis out now! ///

Welcome to The Obsolete Exchange

Good games never die, they just get old.

With the current drought of quality AAA games, it's hard to stay excited for the future of gaming - anti-consumer practices, lack of innovation and watered down gameplay has plagued the industry for years. But just because the current state of things is bad, it doesn't mean gaming as a whole is finished. Far from it. There is 50 years worth of videogames available at the touch of a few buttons, and it is my mission to shine a light on both old, new and the ones inbetween. Whether it be big AAA releases, unreleased indies or completely forgetten games from the last century, there is something here to fit everyones budget, specs and tastes.

The bigger picture

This is more than just a review site, it's a gaming site in the truest sense. So as well as reviews, you will find opinions, analysis, tutorials and more. Not only videogames, but hardware, peripherals and other physical things will be reviewed, showcased and discussed. In short, if it has anything at all to do with gaming, it is ripe for discussion here.

The Vaults

To make navigation simpler, you can find all the different types of articles and pages in The Vaults section, which has replaced the former review section. The vaults also contain a mini archive of media physical scans, mainly from magazines, but also include books and strategy guides.
